Papua New Guinea Power Limited (PPL) engaged Voltex Power Engineers to perform a field review of the PNG Ramu Grid, which was experiencing stability issues, that could only be resolved by separation into three portions.

Voltex modelled the network, conducted studies and provided recommendations and operator guidance to allow stability and reconnection back to a single network.
