Scope

Statutory HV and Hazardous Area Audits of CSG Field Compressor Stations and Central Processing Plants, HV Commissioning of 18 MVA and 1 MVA Tx, HA engineering advice and HA Verification Dossier preparation (23 sites).

QGC, the Australian arm of British Gas, developed the QCLNG project, listed by CNN Money in 2012 as the world’s 7th most expensive energy project (US $34B). Voltex was appointed by the Upstream Project Principal, Thiess, to provide HV Commissioning, Accredited HV Audits, and to develop Hazardous Area Verification Dossiers and provide Accredited HA Audits across 23 sites, including:

• 132/33kV substations
• 33/6.6kV Transformers and switchboards
• Central Processing Plants
• Field Compressor Stations
